My second book, The Devil May Care, just won the 2012 Golden Heart for Historical Romance!
During my "year of entering contests" (besides
the GH), it won the 2010 Beau Monde Royal Ascot in the Hot Regency category as well as the Historical
category of the 2009 Golden Pen.
In 2010, it was also a finalist in:
Reveal Your Inner Vixen (came in second place
behind A Most Improper Gentleman!).
book, A MOST IMPROPER GENTLEMAN won the 2010 Golden Heart for Regency Historical.
In 2010, it also won:
Beau Monde Royal Ascot for Regency Historical
Heart of the Rockies (Historical)
Reveal Your Inner Vixen
It was a finalist in every contest I entered it in, including The Golden Palm, and it was also nominated in the Molly's Unsinkable Heroine
Since I was a Golden Heart
finalist for A Most Improper Gentleman (then called Shameless) in 2009 as well, I'm lucky enough to count
myself a member of three uber-talented Golden Heart classes: the Firebirds, the Unsinkables and the extraordinary Ruby

IT'S GOLDEN HEART AND RITA CALL DAY!!
1:10 am edt
I don't even have anything entered, and I'm still incredibly excited!
How is the
new "90%" rule going to affect the size of the list of finalists? (Now everything that scores over 90% on average
of the total possible score will final...which theoretically means there could be DOZENS of finalists in any given category.)
I love DRAMA, and I think we're going to see plenty tomorrow...though I will never stop mourning the loss of the
Regency and Strong Romantic Elements categories.
Good luck to everyone who's out there biting
their nails....I hope you get that wonderful, life-changing call!!!
