My second book, The Devil May Care, won the 2012 Golden Heart for Historical Romance!

During my "year of entering contests" (besides the GH), it won the 2010 Beau Monde Royal Ascot in the Hot Regency category as well as the Historical category of the 2009 Golden Pen.
In 2010, it was also a finalist in:
The Emily
Great Expectations
Fab Five
Reveal Your Inner Vixen (came in second place behind A Most Improper Gentleman!).
My first book, A MOST IMPROPER GENTLEMAN won the 2010 Golden Heart for Regency Historical.
In 2010, it also won:
The Beau Monde Royal Ascot for Regency Historical
The Molly (Historical)
Heart of the Rockies (Historical)
Reveal Your Inner Vixen
It was a finalist in every contest I entered it in, including The Golden Palm, and it was also nominated in the Molly's Unsinkable Heroine Category.

Since I was a Golden Heart finalist for A Most Improper Gentleman (then called Shameless) in 2009 as well, I'm lucky enough to count myself a member of three uber-talented Golden Heart classes: the Firebirds, the Unsinkables and the extraordinary Ruby Slippered Sisters.
I'll blog here when I can, but you'll hear much more from me at the 2009 finalists' website, rubyslipperedsisterhood.com

Really... I mean it.  Check out the 2009 Golden Heart Finalists blog at rubyslipperedsisterhood.com.  It will do your heart and soul good.

webassets/ruby_cyber_party.jpgI don't even have anything entered, and I'm still incredibly excited!

How is the new "90%" rule going to affect the size of the list of finalists? (Now everything that scores over 90% on average of the total possible score will final...which theoretically means there could be DOZENS of finalists in any given category.)

I love DRAMA, and I think we're going to see plenty tomorrow...though I will never stop mourning the loss of the Regency and Strong Romantic Elements categories.

Good luck to everyone who's out there biting their nails....I hope you get that wonderful, life-changing call!!!
